A mark of a truly great clan is an established branch in each server. Since I, and hopedully everyone else, beilieve TDP is a great clan, I think it would be really kickass if we expanded to GL and Banff. I don't think this has ever been proposed before (i searched the forums). I think this might be viewed as sorta a big step or even RADICAL (?), but im interested to know what people, especially leaders, think about it.

i have a couple things to say....
i think TDP used to be on GL & Legends but died out right?
and so for that to happen and work the whole clan should probly have to back it
and i do think it'd be a good idea

TDP Is an Armageddon based clan, Quality > Quantity. Some random person made TDP on Legends, I think it was NERO that got a hold of it from them, we have the clan there, but we don't support it. FuzzOnFire from TDP made TDP on GL but went MIA, I think he had later explained why, and not long ago someone made TDP on GL again, but it wasn't anyone from TDP - another imposter.
Its been sugested several times, and every time the answer has been no.

I play on legends and i'm making a small name for myself. I would like to carry the TDP tag in Legends cuz I'm tired of getting invites from clans that randomly invite people and tell me to join cuz they are in a war and need people to play.
like matt said quality>quantity. i know it gets boring sometimes cuz not a lot of people have been on but i guess it's cool. i make friends with the people in the lobby.

Yeah what Manny's problem was with the always getting invites on other servers is what made me wonder about this. Quite annoying when they're all like "well uh, nobody will know. i mean just join the blah blah blah." well, spose its not happenin, though.

Maybe I misunderstood, but... You know you can join clans on other servers right? We just don't like the idea of you being in a rival clan like Netjak on another server.

yea matt, we understand that we can join clans as long as it doesn't have an army branch, but we would rather proudly sport the TDP tag.

Im the same way, but even if we weren't dead set on having it an army clan, in order to have TDP ran like TDP on another server, we'd have to know that the person running the clan is going to do it the way we would. They'd have to be a long-time/active member of TDP, preferable 2 or 3 of them so they can keep eachother in check, and so they can activly support the clan. It's not as easy as pick a good guy to lead the clan and send him off to another server. We have to worry about the reputation of the clan, we have to worry about the leader(s)'s ability to run the clan properly, to activly have the leaders checking applications and putting up voting boards for people applying on these forums. And it'll get increasingly difficult for any current leader to be leading multiple servers. Being a leader for TDP is more than inviting, and the reason we stayed strong so long is we had one leader constantly doing what he can to keep it running, replenishing the ranks among other things, and had other leaders to help with the work load and to have leaders online more often. What are the odds we can recreate that on another server? You wanna wear the title, thats great, but the title doesn't make TDP, the people do.  If we happen to have 3 active/loyal/long-time members of TDP willing and capable of leading TDP on another server, then I'll fight on your side, but until then, I don't like the idea of TDP popping its head on another server then falling apart which is what will most likely happen. edit: but we can invite you on Legends if you'd like. I think pinkie has lead, you'll have to ask her. |
