well i have just learnt how to use photoshop, not completely but abit so i though i would make my own thread where i can upload the siggys i have made and hopefully you can watch me improve   This is the first ever one i have made.  I didnt make this one it was already done in psd formatt so i put my name onit. im not that good with brushes and stuff yet but i have downloaded loads eveytime i play around i learn something new lol more will be on the way and hopefully i can GET as good as matt if not almost as good lol. i hope it was alright to make this thread for myself. |

Nice, but it looks like you dragged the blur tool across the edge of her hair? The blur tools find to use, but you should click the edges, not drag. If you see its still standing out too much, theres a simple way of helping that (though most prefesionals probably wouldn't do it, its better than dragging the blur tool across her hair). All you do is duplicate the render layer, then select the lower one of the two, and go filter > blur > Gausin Blur and adjust it to give a small gaussin blur behind her. It gives you a live preview on your banner so you should be able to just adjust it by eye. EDIT: Im gonna make up a simple little smudge tutorial (with buttons  ) for you, that should help alot of people. |
