This is a guide to The Dawg Pound Forums. The Dawg Pound is a clan on the Armageddon Server that doesn’t rely on stats to get in. It is a clan for members of the Tactics Arena Community who want to have fun and just play the game. The Dawg Pound is an Army based clan and is not considering moving to any other servers. I've compiled many threads, posts, and ideas together to get this. Not all of this is stuff I wrote, but most is. If you have any ideas/contributions to this thread, please PM me.

Guide to the Sections:
Armageddon Recruitments – This board is where all of our applicants apply. You can find our application format here. If you are looking to apply you should use the recommended format.
General Board – The General Board is a board that contains many different threads about many different things.
Screen Shots – Here you can post any great battle you came out of or even a funny battle conversation. Make sure what you post here doesn’t belong in the Graphics Board.
Graphics Board – The Graphics Board is where you can request banners, post TDP Shots, and talk about graphics. TDP has many great banner makers who are willing to make banners for you if you follow the guidelines of requesting.
Strategy and Tactics – This is a password-protected forum that only full members have access to.
Pounders – This is a password-protected forum that only full members has access to.
Clan Discussion Trial Members – This is the section where the voters listed above vote on the trial members.
Leader Discussion – The leaders of the Pound can only access this board.

Here you can find how to use the many features of our forum.
Basics:
To change your forum name-
Go to your profile and click “Modify Profile.” Type in the new name you want in the box labeled “Display Name”, then click “Modify Profile.” You use this same approach with changing your password, location, avatar, signature, and email address.
Features:
-You can upload images when you post. You must use reply, not quick reply.
-Admins have larger powers. They can remove any privilege given to any certain member. If you abuse karma, you can lose your karma, etc.
-You can edit your own censor filter in your profile.
-Music has been added to the main page. To suggest a song, post here.
-The scrolling signature is being updated. Please post the siggy you want in it here.
-You have a title based on karma.
· -20 = Cerabus
· -10 = Bad Dawg
· 0 = Puppy
· 10 = Good Dawg
· 20 = Saintly Dawg
-A whisper effect has been added. To use it type: [*whisper=*InsertNameHere*]*InsertMessageHere*[*/whisper], then take out the “*”. Also, when you use the reply button there is an option that lets you whisper. It looks like a "W."
-You can post in other fonts.
-Full Members can have his or her name changed. To do so, post in this thread using this code: MemberGlow[‘namehere’,’maincolorhere’,’outerglowhere’] Insert the color codes you want using this chart.
-You can always post in a specific color.
-New smileys added. To acess them, click "View all smilies" when posting.
The Arcade:
Any members of the forum can access the arcade by clicking on the button at the top of the home page called “Arcade.” Most information on the arcade can be found here.
Trophies:
Trophies are received by achieving a certain feat.
The Current Trophies are:
Having a ranked account in TDP on any server
Symbol Representing Trophy: ®
Assisting an admin or leader on TAO or on the TDP forums
If an admin feels the member deserves this trophy the admin should post explaining why the member deserves it or requesting that the member explain why he deserves the trophy.
Symbol Representing Trophy: ۩
TDP Artist Award
This trophy will be given to any member that helped with art on several occasions. The Admin(s) will judge any person who gets the trophy.

TDP Loyalty Award
For any member who has been here a year or longer.
Symbol Representing Trophy: ‡
Player of The Month Award
Winning the player of the month now gives you a trophy, a different one for each month.

July = ĵĿ

TDP admins are always looking for new trophies. If you have an idea for a trophy please PM any admin or moderator about it. If you deserve one of the trophies listed above, but you do not have it PM any admin telling him/her what the problem is and why you deserve any specific trophy.
News:
Any news can be put here. Any members that leave TAO, rumors of a new unit, PM me or post them here. I’ll add them to this section. Try to provide links to a thread or s/s if possible.
3/29/06 – Lex 3.1 decides to leave TAO and TDP.
