THE HOUSE
This game is being run by Livre and Pinkie.
To participate, simply send a PM to the TaskMasters account. A list of players can then be compiled and the main game will get underway in a new thread. Your PM may contain the answers to the below questions but they are optional. You can answer as little or as much questions as you wish but it is recommended you try your best while attempting them. If you do choose not to attempt any questions then you may be at a slight disadvantage when it comes to the main game. DO NOT POST ANY ANSWERS.
Both full members and non-members can play this game and the rules will be explained later in the actual game thread. Once you send your PM you will receive a reply with your score (This only applies if you answered any questions) but again you do not need to. The game will get underway as soon as we have a good mix of players.
Here are the questions that you may or may not answer. Not answering them will place you slightly behind the players who did answer at least a few correctly though.
1) Why are 1972 pennies worth more than 1971 pennies?
2) You can catch me but you can’t throw me. What am I?
3) You can give it food and it will live, but if you give it water it will die. What is it?
4) What row of numbers comes next?
1
11
21
1211
111221
312211
13112221
5) If I were to tell you that anything I say to you is a lie, am I lying or telling the truth?
6) If I have nine kids and half of them are girls, how is this possible?
7) How much soil is there in a hole measuring two feet by two feet by two feet?
8) Before the days of cars, a man rode into town on his horse. He arrived on Tuesday, spent three days in town and left on Tuesday. How is that possible?
9) A black dog is sitting in the middle of an intersection in a city painted black. The street lights aren’t working due to a power failure caused by a storm. A driver in a car with both headlights broken drives straight towards the dog but swerves in time to avoid hitting him. How could the driver have seen the dog in time?
10) Paul’s father has five sons: 1.) Toko 2.) Tiki 3.) Taka 4.) Teke. What is the fifth son’s name?
Send your PM's now. remember, this is only sign-up and was designed so we could compile a list of players names. This is not the real game. Attempting the questions is recommended but is optional. Either way, if you want to play we need to receive a PM from you to this account.
Copy and paste the questions into your PM if you want to try them. If not, just state you want to play instead.
If you have any questions post them in this thread or PM them to us.
