Well as it says, I played Rantzu1 at banff on my gold (obviously, duh!). I offered him a game and willingly said yes. We got into a game and I saw he had a rush and I was turtling. I immediatly thought I was going to lose as he had a DSM also. But, I thought oh well, I will play him. I said to him "this is going to be hard for me" and he replied with "Probably." I think you all pretty much know what I am going to say now... I beat him! Before you ask, yes I do have a screenshot and here it is: img465.imageshack.us/img465/261/rantzu1beat8rl.jpgI couldn't believe it when I had beaten him with a turtle. I guess the moral of this story is never doubt yourself. ~Xe~ |

but you doubted yourelf and won  anyways nice. it still looks like both players still stand a chance though.. |

The health on all his units were low around the 20-30 hp area.

Wow. That is very good. Rantzu is in my opinion one of the Top 5 best players of TAO ever. I am 0-4 with him, rush vs. rush. Good job.  |

Turtle him lol, if you're good at turtle he doesn't really stand a chance.
I think ranztu1 aka. Glad is an excellent player, but does not know how to beat down a turtle with a rush.

why the hell did he surrender? if he retreatedand healed up you would of been in alot of trouble. STill, a win is a win ;D

Xenon said he turtled, if so, his stoney would of died if he was on the bottom. That doesnt seem to likely to me but im sure xenon will clarify.

lol, to be honest im not sure what you said, but its not your fault, I just have a short attension span. But yeah, he can clerify.
And just so I dont confuse anyone, I ment rantzu1 was the one without the cleric.
EDIT: ok turns out rantzu1 had the cleric... his mouse just screwed up, and so he was unable to finish the game.
