Today on my voicemail I got a message saying a family friend's sister was raped, tortured, and murdered and was left to die in a warehouse parking lot after being strangled. She ran in a bad crowd and things caught up with her... they think she owed people a lot of drug money. She was out in the suburbs trying to get her life back in order and going to rehab but it was just too late.

Thanks guys, to be honest I didn't know her terribly well but her sister is a good friend of mine and it's crazy to think someone my age could have something like this happen to her. It's the sort of thing I always thought I'd only hear about in movies, not on my answering machine.

Nah, when a crackwhore dies in Chicago the cops don't really do anything about it. It's going to depend on how much her family wants them to look into it, if they even look into it at all.
