Well, my comp is f***'n up, and I wouldnt be surprised if very shortly it completely shuts down. If/when this happens, I know my mom won't be willing to buy another comp, and as for me, I cant afford it. I will try to keep this one running as long as possible, I completely did a system restore for roughly a month ago, but my comp is still f***'d. Just wanna give you guyz a heads up incase I completely dissapear for as long as a month or 2.... (me getting a job and trying to save the money for a new comp durring this time.) odds are I'll get realy pissed off at this comp and beat the shit out of it until it starts working.

I don't know a lot about computers, but a couple things you can do are:
Run Scan disc. It is under start>programs>acessories>system tools>scan disc. It will take out all the images you have viewed over the internet and more.
Another thing you can do is go to PC pit stop.com (google it) and run it. It will tell you the condition yor computer is in. (like what it needs help in.
Another thing is go to system tools and do disc defragmentor. It will hopefully make the comp speed up.

My comps fast and everything's fine, it just decide's to restart from time to time, and kills off the internet whenever it feels like it. And I know how to do that stuff iron, but thanks.
My mom was on the comp all morning and she said it was running alright, maybe i didnt do such a bad job last night, but if i ever do dissapear this is probly why.

My computer won't make a sound... I've tried re-hooking all the cables, messed with the audio setup on my comp. and everything else i could think of and still no sound. If anyone's got any idea what the problem might be, let me know.

matt this is for u. i was just flipping through the TV around 1 AM and i saw that a computer worm has come out and it repeatdly shuts down or reboots ur computer. it showed a little popup that said _____ shut down and it had a little countdown. idk if this is what u have but it has mainly affected Microsoft 2000 computers. if this is u go to microsoft.com and look for something to download says CNN. just thought i would help if any of our users have this problem. it has no virus attached to it and is concidered low impact
